Magic
The word magic in this case refers to a computer programme written by myself in PHP. The original version of the BabelSheep was written in Perl, but the engine was completely re-written in PHP as this was more effective in the web translations.
I would have pilfered and plagiarised the existing translation programmes available on the internet, but unfortunately they all seemed to be written in programming languages I did not understand, so I set to and wrote a whole new engine.
Don't expect it to be gramatically correct or sophisticated in any way... it is a simple search and replace programme... however, in testing it seemed pretty effective and often produced some pretty amusing reults.
